PURPOSES
Reports to the Loan Application Supervisor. Oversees
Area-level Perpetual Education Fund (PEF) career,
programs, school review process. Reviews PEF loan
applications and ensure that the applications are in
compliance with defined criteria regarding PEF endorsed
careers, programs, schools. Also ensures that the cost of
the education or training and expected income is in
compliance with the PEF endorsed levels. The endorsed
careers, programs and schools as well as the education
costs and expected income are defined by the Self
Reliance Centers and are updated at least annually. The
PEF endorsed criteria are used to guide all who avail
themselves to the services and blessing of the Self
Reliance Centers. Typically works in a high volume
environment (approximately 500 or more loan
applications per year) or in a complex environment
responding to the needs of many countries. May also
assume lead responsibilities in coordinating the work of
temporary staff. Assists the Self Reliance Center in
updating and maintaining PEF endorsed criteria. Serves
