]]> We’re looking for a highly organised, tech-savvy Operations & AI Assistant to help us lay the foundations for Eastrise’s operational backbone. You’ll work directly with the CEO and Country Directors to set up and streamline core functions including finance, HR, policies, administration, and internal operations. A key part of your role will involve exploring how AI tools can support and scale our workflows.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building systems from scratch, loves to problem-solve, and wants to be part of a purpose-driven startup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Setup & Support
    • Help design and document internal workflows, templates, and SOPs
    • Assist with company registrations, contracts, and compliance across jurisdictions
    • Support procurement, admin, and digital tools setup
  • HR & People Ops
    • Help draft HR policies, onboarding processes, and contractor agreements
    • Support recruitment administration and tracking systems
  • Finance & Governance
    • Support basic financial operations (e.g. invoicing, expense tracking, budgeting frameworks)
    • Assist in building governance frameworks, reporting templates, and internal documentation
  • AI Integration
    • Identify and test AI tools to improve productivity (e.g. Notion AI, ChatGPT, automation tools, Zapier, Airtable, etc.)
    • Set up and train internal teams on how to use AI tools for admin, research, and content support
  • Special Projects
    • Provide support on research, presentations, grant proposals, or partner onboarding as needed
    • Coordinate with external service providers (lawyers, accountants, designers, etc.)
