Job Description

Control Risks is seeking a talented CAD/Revit Design Engineer to join our Security Design team. As a CAD/Revit Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing security systems using CAD/Revit software.

Key responsibilities include:

  •  Creating detailed design drawings, models, and diagrams using CAD/Revit software
  •  Collaborating with the Security Design team to develop innovative and efficient security solutions for clients
  •  Reviewing and analyzing design specifications and requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards
  •  Working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure timely and accurate completion of design projects
  •  Participating in design meetings and presenting design concepts to clients
  •  Assisting in the preparation of technical proposals and project documentation
  •  Carrying out clash detections of Revit models and coordinating solutions to any clashes found
  •  Attend virtual project BIM coordination meetings for projects across EMEA and be able to communicate clearly and confidently to resolve technical issues
  •  Develop and own the departmental BIM and CAD standards
  •  Produce 3D renderings and CGIs of proposed security solutions
  •  Produce drawings and output to the highest standard
  •  Work closely with other members of the team to deliver projects, in a timely manner and add value to the final outputs eO7RCov BIpnb
  •  Use ‘out of the box’ thinking to add value to security designs
  •  Innovate to find more efficient and better ways to produce security designs

Required skills

Experience of clash detection/resolution process using both Navisworks and Revit Familiar with BIM, use of Common Data Environments and QA systems Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with 5+ years experience in an architecture or MEP engineeri Must be capable across disciplines, but primarily M&E building services and architecture
