Job Description

The Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and according to specifications. Acting as the main point of contact between workers and site management, the Foreman ensures efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of site workers and subcontractors.

  • Interpret and implement construction plans and drawings.

  • Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to schedule and specifications.

  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Coordinate deliveries and usage of materials and equipment.

  • Report site issues, delays, or incidents to the project manager.

  • Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and progress.

  • Train and mentor junior workers as needed.

Required skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety regulations. Strong communication and reporting skills. Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
