Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Support lawyers in preparing for court proceedings, hearings, and client meetings.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, records, and documentation.
  • Assist with legal compliance, due diligence, and regulatory filings.
  • Attend court sessions, client meetings, and legal proceedings where appropriate.
  • Prepare legal reports, opinions, and case briefs under supervision.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations and provide updates to the legal team.
  • Perform administrative and other legal support duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) or a related legal qualification.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
