Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Red Seal Plumbing Specialist for a major high-rise accommodation project in Nairobi, Kenya. The role involves installation, testing, commissioning, and quality control of domestic water, drainage, firefighting, irrigation, swimming pool, and specialized plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Install hot/cold water supply, drainage, soil, waste, and vent systems
- Install sanitary fixtures, pumps, tanks, filtration, and booster systems
- Execute underground drainage and specialized plumbing works
- Install irrigation, wet risers, sprinkler systems, jacuzzi, and pool piping
- Conduct pressure testing, drainage testing, and system commissioning
- Ensure compliance with British Standards, local codes, and OSHA safety standards
Requirements
- Red Seal Plumbing Certification
- 5+ years of high-rise or commercial construction experience
- Strong knowledge of MEP coordination and plumbing systems
- Experience with firefighting and specialized water systems preferred
- International project experience is an advantage
- 1 year contract
