Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver the B2B marketing strategy and annual marketing plan across Africa, aligned to commercial goals.
  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, generate demand and support business growth.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, making sure investment delivers strong value and supports business priorities.
  • Lead relationships with creative, PR, media and events agencies to deliver high-quality marketing activity.
  • Create and adapt content, messaging and creative assets for different African markets while maintaining brand standards.
  • Support sales teams with marketing materials and content that help convert prospects into customers.
  • Use marketing automation and customer insight to create personalised and effective campaign experiences.
  • Measure campaign performance, analyse results and share clear recommendations with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver events and broker engagement programmes that strengthen market presence and support sales growth.
  • Work closely with colleagues across marketing, digital, sales and compliance teams to test new ideas and deliver great customer outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-level education and/or a recognised marketing qualification.
  • Proven experience in a Marketing Manager role within a predominantly B2B environment.
  • Strong experience delivering marketing activity across multiple channels, including digital marketing, events, sponsorships, public relations and offline marketing.
  • A track record of building and delivering marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
  • Experience managing budgets and optimising marketing investment.
  • Strong agency management skills across creative, media, PR and events partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large geographical region.
  • A collaborative approach and experience working with diverse teams across different locations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience within international health insurance or a regulated industry would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
