Digital Media Analyst

The Digital Media Analyst will serve as an integral part of the Ruckus marketing team. In this multifaceted role, the ideal candidate is hands-on, strong in quantitative analysis, enjoys data mining, possesses effective data visualization and storytelling skills and grasps digital media measurements and their relationship to sales. The Digital Media Analyst will ensure there are proper campaign measurement infrastructures for all digital marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate is able to provide insights through their analysis of various data sources. Experience with Facebook ads, Google ads, and Google analytics is required. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of data analytics and its role in effective campaign management.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for digital media support inquiries and requests pre and post-campaign launches, including tracking impression delivery, reporting, assisting with optimization and reconciling delivery discrepancies.
  • Set up and create schematics for digital marketing efforts
  • Responsible for data collection, performance reporting and analysis of all campaign digital media tactics including search, display, online video, mobile, programmatic and social.
  • Work closely with functional groups to define data collection requirements and ensure results are measurable and actionable
  • Regular monitoring and analysis of the performance of a portfolio of campaign websites via Google Analytics
  • Develop benchmark performance across all digital products and channels
  • Keep a pulse on the latest measurement methodologies to measure the efficacy of campaigns across digital marketing channels

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5+years of experience in digital marketing/analytics
  • Strong Excel skills required; pivot tables a must
  • Understanding of online advertising planning, buying and performance metrics
  • High-level understanding of viewability & invalid traffic
  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills, and work well within a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new software, services, and procedures
  • Senior Experience with Facebook/Instagram advertising, Google Adwords/Analytics, and related platforms.
  • Knowledge of Website configurations, SEO, Email Marketing, Display, & Mobile
