Job Description

Roles / Duties

Masons

  • Lay bricks, blocks, and stones to construct walls and structures
  • Mix and apply mortar or concrete
  • Interpret building plans and measurements
  • Repair and maintain existing structures
  • Ensure alignment, leveling, and structural stability

Tilers

  • Install tiles on floors, walls, and surfaces
  • Prepare surfaces (cleaning, leveling, applying adhesives)
  • Cut and shape tiles to fit spaces
  • Ensure proper alignment and finishing
  • Repair or replace damaged tiles

Qualifications

  • Trade Test Certificate (Grade III, II, or I) in masonry/tiling
  • Certificate in Building Construction or related field
  • Experience in construction or finishing works
  • Ability to read and interpret simple construction drawings
  • Knowledge of construction materials and tools
  • Good hand skills and attention to detail
  • Physical fitness and ability to work on-site
