Job Description

Kenya Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Eradication Council (KENTTEC) is a state corporation mandated to coordinate all Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis eradication activities in Kenya. JOB SUMMARY This is the entry and training grade for degreeholders in this cadre. An officer in this levelwill work under the guidance of a senior officer RESPONSIBILITIES i. Preparing speeches, media briefs and newsletters;ii. Maintaining onlinepresence through the website and social media pages;iii. Ensuring website is regularly updated;iv. Overseeing the branding of KENTTEC;v. Developing corporate Information, Educational and Communication (IEC) materials;vi. Documenting eventsthrough videography, photography and press cuttings;vii. Packaging and disseminating publications, content and events using the appropriate formats and media;andviii. Developing and updating media andstakeholder mailing list.
