Researcher Positions (2):
- Join the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Program in the Human Development Theme
- Responsibilities vary based on the level of appointment
- Provide leadership to scientific research teams or projects related to ECD
- Contribute to policy engagement and strategic planning
- Lead and contribute to proposal development and fundraising
- Mentor young researchers and facilitate training sessions
- Secure and manage necessary resources
- Represent the Center at national, regional, and international forums
- Contribute to institutional publications and oversee data quality and analyses
Qualifications and Experience:
- PhD in developmental psychology, educational psychology, early childhood development, or related discipline
- Research institution experience, leading or managing research programs/projects
- Experience with impact evaluations of ECD and/or early years’ interventions (added advantage)
- Fluency in English; multilingual (English and French) a plus
- Excellent scientific writing skills
- Strong quantitative or qualitative skills; experience with mixed methods (added advantage)
- Strong proposal writing skills and a track record of winning research grants
Appointment Levels:
- Postdoctoral (0-2 years after PhD)
- Associate Research Scientist (3-5 years after PhD)
- Research Scientist (6-11 years after PhD)
- Senior Research Scientist (12+ years after PhD)
