Job Description

You Would Be Responsible For Supporting the implementation of centralized evaluations within the multi-year costed evaluation plan • Support the development of concept notes and terms of reference for centralized evaluations • Support the recruitment, contracting and on-boarding of evaluation consultants/teams • Support the preparation phase of centralized evaluations, including: • document review including analyzing the portfolio of interventions for each evaluation • financial analysis: (i) Build excel data sets containing financial information from UNFPA reporting and monitoring systems; (ii) Produce qualitative and quantitative analyses of trends in UNFPA budget and expenditure; (iii) Liaise with country and regional offices to obtain additional data/information on UNFPA expenditure • stakeholder mapping: identify key stakeholders at global and regional levels for each evaluation • Organize and participate (as required) in field missions and support the implementation of desk case studies (document collection and research); liaise with selected country offices as required; administer surveys • Support the organization of, and participate in evaluation analysis workshops and contribute to the data analysis phase of evaluations • Perform quality assurance of evaluation deliverables • Contribute to dissemination of evaluation results, including preparation of knowledge products, editing and proof-reading evaluation deliverables • Organize and participate in meetings including evaluation reference group meetings and documenting minutes

Required skills

Excellent technical knowledge of evaluation approaches, evaluation design, data collection including Knowledge of decentralized evaluation systems and mechanisms Two years of professional experience conducting/ contributing to evaluations in areas of UNFPA manda Two years of professional experience conducting/ contributing to evaluations including experience in
