Job Description

We are in search of an enthusiastic and skilled Finance Assistant to join our Finance Department, primarily tasked with processing invoices, issuing payments, completing payments, and overseeing expense control through payment reception, processing, verification, and invoice reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately conduct reconciliations of bank transactions and petty cash.
  • Manage statutory deductions and reconcile tax ledgers.
  • Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Match all supplier invoices and delivery notes received with corresponding LPOs.
  • Ensure adherence to finance and accounting policies and procedures.
  • Prepare accounts for annual audits and collaborate with external auditors.
  • Ensure the office is adequately stocked with necessities.
  • Perform other duties related to this role.

Requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Possess a minimum of two (2) years of proven accounting experience.
  • Completed at least CPA II and attained a B+ in KCSE.
  • Demonstrate impeccable integrity and diligence.
  • Display high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Exhibit organizational, accuracy, and detail-oriented qualities.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Showcase outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
