Job Description

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Demonstrated school academic leadership, curriculum management, and staff supervision experience.
  • Knowledge of Pearson Edexcel curriculum, assessment, and quality assurance practices.
  • Strong safeguarding, communication, planning, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to teach Key Stage 2 Mathematics and Science.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead curriculum delivery, academic standards, and learner performance in line with Pearson Edexcel requirements.
  • Supervise Heads of Department and teachers; oversee lesson observations, appraisals, coaching, and professional development.
  • Ensure student welfare, safeguarding, positive behavior, and compliance with school policies.
  • Coordinate examinations, academic reporting, school calendars, timetables, and day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee co-curricular programmes, educational visits, risk assessments, and parent engagement.
  • Teach Mathematics and Science at Key Stage 2 and report to the Senior Principal.
