Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
- Support lawyers in preparing for court proceedings, hearings, and client meetings.
- Organize and maintain legal files, records, and documentation.
- Assist with legal compliance, due diligence, and regulatory filings.
- Attend court sessions, client meetings, and legal proceedings where appropriate.
- Prepare legal reports, opinions, and case briefs under supervision.
- Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and provide updates to the legal team.
- Perform administrative and other legal support duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) or a related legal qualification.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
