Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Conduct the affairs of the office in a way that adheres to the Mission of the Garretson School
District;
2. Serve as a point of contact with the public by managing the secure entry point, greeting all
visitors, managing all incoming phone calls;
3. Operate, maintain and troubleshoot office machines;
4. Enters and manages data in the Student Information System (SIS);
5. Generates reports from the SIS as necessary for administration
6.Assist with student attendance procedures;
7. Copy, file, record and organize items and documents as necessary in support of the
Principals;
8.Coordinate records associated with open enrollment or students exempted from public school
attendance;
9. Coordinate with the Principals the maintenance of all permanent student records;
10. Assist students as necessary with health, medication and injury needs and is medication
