Job Description
The Consultants shall:
- Work closely with the Lead Consultant to develop the training agenda and relevant materials/resources as may be required.
- Co-facilitate a 4-day workshop, in collaboration with the Lead Consultant and lead on all psychosocial/mental health related topics e,g (Emotional Well-being, Self-care etc).
- Provide professional and confidential well-being services (direct individual and group counselling support) to survivors of FGM/C, grounded in the Africa Led Movement (ALM) holistic, survivor centred Do No Harm approach.
- Ensure that Survivor stories are captured in a supporting and validating environment, with a specific focus on the emotional wellbeing angle, and provide appropriate safeguarding and psychosocial support.
Deliverables
The consultants are expected to complete and submit the following deliverables;
- Physical presence at, and co-facilitation during, the 4-days training.
- Physical presence at, and provision of psychotherapy services during, the 4-days training.
- Participation in debrief meetings and preparation of report summarising outcomes and recommendations.
- Support participants in developing self-care plans (provide at least two samples).
