Job Overview
- The successful candidate will provide comprehensive cancer care using radiation therapy as a core treatment modality. You will lead the patient’s journey from diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution to long-term follow-up, working within a multidisciplinary oncology team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and stage cancer accurately using clinical and imaging data.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based radiation treatment plans.
- Oversee safe and precise delivery of radiation therapy.
- Monitor patients throughout treatment and manage side effects.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards.
- Ensure compliance with KNRA safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide patient education and compassionate counseling.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBChB from a recognized institution.
- MMed in Radiation Oncology/Clinical Oncology.
- Specialist registered with KMPDC.
- Valid practicing license and professional indemnity cover.
- Minimum 1-2 years post-specialization experience.
