Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

i.Organize and supervise the implementation of all surveillance activities at various levels including household, environmental and health facility levels;

ii.Ensure availability of requisite study supplies and materials at all times;

iii.Serve as the point of contact and principal source of information on study matters and deliverables for the site; and produce regular progress reports as required;

iv.Develop and design local training for project staff in collaboration with the study investigators;

v.Work with scientific staff to ensure collection of high-quality data;

vi.Work with other investigators to conceptualize and develop analytical plans for various data;

vii.Provide study updates and liaise with relevant sub-county and county health management teams, MOH heads, opinion leaders and community advisory boards;

viii.Work with project leads to contribute in the analysis of scientific results

ix.Submit periodic reports of project status to the project team while identifying gaps and areas requiring further strengthening.

Required skills

Ability to work independently and proactively; Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Biomedical Sciences, MedicalSciences, Publ Good analytical skills and experience of using at least one statistical package such as R or STATA Have an in-depth understanding of Good Clinical Practice principles. Must be willing to reside in the study area
