Sales Representative – Dairy Industry
Company: Strummels Dairies Ltd
Location: Nairobi County (17 salespersons, 1 per constituency), Thika, Kitengela (Kajiado, Isinya), Ngong, Keserian, Uthiru, Kinoo, Mugana, Athi River & Mlolongo, Kiambu town, Ruaka, Machakos.
Responsibilities:
- Getting orders for pasteurized and chilled fresh milk from hotels and milk dispensers on behalf of the company.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Become an expert on the diverse range of dairy products, staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential customers, understand competitors, and gather insights for strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and production teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment of sales efforts with company goals.
- Customer Education: Educate clients on the features and benefits of dairy products, providing solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, providing insights into performance and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- At least a Certificate in Sales and Marketing.
- 1-2 years proven experience in sales. Experience in the dairy industry will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for dairy products and a genuine interest in the industry.
Budget:
- Retainer: Ksh. 15,000 plus commission.
- Commission will be 3% of above 1000 Litres of milk sold.
