Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure all cleaning duties are performed efficiently and to required standards

  • Assign daily tasks, monitor staff performance, and provide training and guidance

  • Inspect rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards

  • Plan and coordinate cleaning schedules to ensure timely service delivery

  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and suppliesReport maintenance issues and coordinate with relevant departments for quick resolution

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

  • Train staff on safety procedures and proper cleaning techniques

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure rooms and facilities are ready for use

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping

  • Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory role

Skills and Competencies

Strong leadership and team management skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
