Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Tour Consultants to deliver exceptional service
- Oversee daily reservations operations, including workload planning and performance monitoring
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of quotations, bookings, and travel documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, partners, and key stakeholders
- Manage bookings within Tourplan, ensuring accuracy in costing, margins, and invoicing
- Support revenue optimization through effective margin management and supplier negotiations
- Handle complex itineraries, escalations, and VIP client requests professionally
- Coordinate team schedules, performance reviews, and ongoing development initiatives
- Ensure smooth operational handovers and adherence to booking timelines

- Deliver timely responses to client requests and efficient turnaround of quotations
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in bookings and documentation
- Drive strong booking conversion and revenue performance
- Ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient booking processes
- Foster high customer satisfaction and positive agent feedback
- Build and maintain a high-performing, accountable, and motivated team
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Tourism, or Customer Service Management
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the tourism industry
- Strong knowledge of East African tourism products and market dynamics
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in ICT systems (Tourplan experience is essential)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
