Our client is expanding its presence in the document and check scanner industry as well as the label, card & badge, and cable & wire marker printer industries. We are looking for an individual to take on the role of Marketing Specialist and help support our product marketing efforts. The person we seek will work closely with the existing team, as well as internal Canon customers, channel partners, and outside vendors.

This position is full-time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.


  • Product marketing: launch and lifecycle marketing activities (field marketing guides, sales tools, product presentations, product brochures and other collateral, training, promotional plans, awards, competitive analysis, etc.)
  • Provide channel sales/partner support at tradeshows, seminars, events, channel partner site activities, training, etc.
  • Collaborate with other groups on different activities: websites, outbound communications, public relations, social media, advertising, videos, etc.
  • Target vertical market segment and Business Development support and administration (including Healthcare, Public Sector (Federal / State / Local Government + Education), Financial / Banking, Accounting)
  • Manage website content (including public site and partner portal administration)
  • Create collateral material (including product launch and lifecycle support materials)
  • Manage the communication database (including ongoing administration and updates)

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience using Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
  • Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
