• Develop, review and adhere to the study standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Sensitize the community/health facilities teams on the study.
• Respond to questions about the study posed by participants and the community in consultation with the study coordinator.
• Screen and enroll study participants and Administer Informed Consent administration per study protocol.
• Administer study questionnaires as per protocol, accurately record the data and perform quality checks before submitting the data.
• Maintain documentation of all study activities as per study standard operating procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews for PPWH who do not respond to intervention.
• Provide appropriate referral for non-intervention study participants with high CMD scores per protocol.
• Follow-up participants to ensure study visits are conducted in a timely manner.
• For study participants on medication, monitor and update the psychiatrist and MDT on progress.
• Ensure participant retention and adhere to site retention strategies.
• Interact with participants in accordance with ethical standards and guidelines for research involving human subjects. This includes safeguarding participants’ confidentiality, respecting their autonomy, and protecting their well-being
• Prepare daily updates, weekly and monthly progress reports, adverse event reports, serious adverse event reports as required.
• Provide supervision to mentor mothers to ensure implementation of the interventions and attend all study related meetings.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the research team-Behavioural Care officers, Mentor mothers, data team, principal investigators, health facility staff, and larger Kargeno-research Hub staff.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Organize and prioritize deadlines, follow through on tasks and keep your manager informed of your progress
• Roll calls, take detailed notes, and manage / update submission log and call log
• Read and provide coverage on a high volume of material (books, scripts, etc)
• Schedule meetings and support the coordination of a high volume of project-based work
• Become well-versed in the current projects your manager is working on and proactively track each project’s status and action items
• Review and track one-lines, prep schedules, sides, etc. when your manager is in prep and production
• Review and track script changes
• Format writer, director, and talent lists.
• Provide manager with detailed end of day emails
• Draft and manage monthly expense reports

•  Work closely with the Lead Consultant to develop the training agenda and relevant materials/resources as may be required.
•  Co-facilitate a 4-day workshop, in collaboration with the Lead Consultant and lead on all psychosocial/mental health related topics e,g (Emotional Well-being, Self-care etc).
•  Provide professional and confidential well-being services (direct individual and group counselling support) to survivors of FGM/C, grounded in the Africa Led Movement (ALM) holistic, survivor centred Do No Harm approach.
•  Ensure that Survivor stories are captured in a supporting and validating environment, with a specific focus on the emotional wellbeing angle, and provide appropriate safeguarding and psychosocial support.

Deliverables

The consultants are expected to complete and submit the following deliverables;

•  Physical presence at, and co-facilitation during, the 4-days training.
•  Physical presence at, and provision of psychotherapy services during, the 4-days training.
•  Participation in debrief meetings and preparation of report summarising outcomes and recommendations.
•  Support participants in developing self-care plans (provide at least two samples).
