                    <description><![CDATA[<p>Key imperatives and responsibilities..</p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.</li>
<li>Recruit staff members and in liaison with unit heads, oversee training programs; Plan and direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop their capabilities.</li>
<li>Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems. and safety and recreation programs.</li>
<li>Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment and recommend needed changes.</li>
<li>Analyze and modify compensation and benefit policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.</li>
<li>Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.</li>
<li>Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations and employee relations.</li>
<li>Plan, organize, direct control or coordinate the labour relations activities of the company.</li>
<li>Represent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.</li>
<li>A link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems. Visit workplaces, take note of concerns and act accordingly.</li>
<li>Monitor and evaluate the performance of all staff, recommending and implementing personnel actions, such as promotions and dismissals.</li>
<li>Payroll Management and implementation of statutory requirements from NHIF, NSSF, NITA and PAYE.</li>
<li>Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Directors</li>
