Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocating Inventory: You’ll handle the allocation of inventory ensuring everything gets where it needs to be in a multi-retailer environment.
  • Reporting & Analysis: 1) You’ll generate and share weekly sell-in reports, providing analysis and explanations 2) You’ll issue a combined report, merging the weekly cut report from Sales Operations with the weekly inbound report from Production. This report will advise on when booster orders for cut items can be placed, ensuring everyone has the information they need for strategic decision-making.
  • Managing Launches: You’ll oversee the entire allocation process, ensuring that products hit their launch dates on time. If there are any risks to timelines, you’ll identify them early, keep everyone updated, and work with teams to sort out any delays.
  • Inventory Management: You’ll have a deep understanding of our inventory levels and BOMs for each product, knowing what can be easily converted or assembled into finished goods, helping to prevent the need for unnecessary purchase order cuts.
  • Order Management Support: You will review proposed cuts before approving them, double-checking that the inventory is not already available. Additionally, you will approve FOC orders for internal teams and retailers as needed.
  • Lead: You’ll lead status meetings with cross-functional teams, ensuring everyone is on the same page regarding allocation and inventory management.
  • Tracking Inventory: You’ll review weekly out-of-stock reports for finished goods, keeping a close eye on inventory levels to prevent any stockouts.
  • Special Projects: You’ll take on special projects as they come up, staying flexible and ready to handle whatever needs attention.
