Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shipping Superintendent to lead shipping and receiving operations within a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse and materials handling operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate movement of finished goods while maintaining compliance with operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate product movement

Oversee FIFO execution, load scheduling, and load time optimization

Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate closely with production teams

Provide hands-on leadership to warehouse and shipping personnel

Enforce safety standards and support safety programs related to powered industrial equipment

Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and OSHA regulations

Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
-
3+ years of progressive leadership experience managing warehouse, shipping, or materials handling operations

Strong background in shipping & receiving within a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Demonstrated stability and strong tenure in prior roles

Proven experience with FIFO processes, inventory control, and shipping logistics

Hands-on safety accountability in manufacturing settings

Ability to work in a refrigerated manufacturing environment, including freezer exposure
-
Comfortable wearing required PPE and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
Preferred Experience

Food & beverage or temperature-controlled manufacturing experience

Experience leading teams in high-volume production environments
