Roles / Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (pipes, fittings, fixtures)
  • Fix leaks, blockages, and faulty connections
  • Install and maintain water supply and drainage systems
  • Inspect systems to identify faults and recommend solutions
  • Read and interpret basic plumbing drawings or layouts
  • Ensure proper functioning of sanitation systems
  • Use plumbing tools and equipment safely
  • Follow safety and building regulations

Qualifications

  • Trade Certificate in Plumbing or relevant field
  • Practical experience in plumbing works
  • Knowledge of water supply and drainage systems
  • Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Physical fitness for manual work
  • Registration with a relevant professional body (if required) is an added advantage
