Roles / Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain water and wastewater systems (pipes, pumps, valves)
  • Support operation of treatment plants and distribution systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and fault diagnosis
  • Fix leaks, blockages, and damaged infrastructure
  • Assist in equipment servicing and maintenance
  • Ensure proper functioning of water supply and sewage systems
  • Follow safety and environmental guidelines
  • Keep maintenance and repair records

Qualifications

  • Trade Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing, Mechanical, or Water Engineering
  • Practical skills in pipework, fittings, and system maintenance
  • Basic understanding of water and wastewater systems
  • Ability to use tools and equipment safely
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Physical fitness for field and manual work
  • Relevant experience in water or sanitation projects is an added advantage
