Job Description

 Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting operating systems, applications, and internet connectivity problems.
  • Monitor and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of email accounts, user accounts, and system access permissions.
  • Perform routine system updates, software installations, and antivirus maintenance.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and support activities in the helpdesk system.
  • Assist in data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Educate users on basic IT best practices and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT personnel when necessary.
  • Ensure all IT equipment is properly maintained and inventoried.
  • Provide support during system upgrades, network installations, and other IT projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of company data and information systems.
  • Perform other technical support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and common software applications.
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT environments
