Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Maintain and update employee records, databases, and personnel files.
  • Assist in preparing employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Help coordinate staff training, development programs, and performance management activities.
  • Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying employee information.
  • Assist in monitoring employee attendance, leave records, and other HR reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR procedures.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide administrative support to the HR department.
  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and workplace wellness programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of HR principles and Kenyan labour laws is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop a career in Human Resource Management.
