Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records, databases, and personnel files.
- Assist in preparing employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.
- Help coordinate staff training, development programs, and performance management activities.
- Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying employee information.
- Assist in monitoring employee attendance, leave records, and other HR reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR procedures.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide administrative support to the HR department.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives and workplace wellness programs.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HR principles and Kenyan labour laws is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop a career in Human Resource Management.
