Job Description
Assistant Student Counsellor – Grade 9/10 – MKsU/ASC/01/26 (1 Position)
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Must have an earned Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Education Psychology or equivalent.
- Registered with relevant professional body.
OR
- Must have an earned Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Education Psychology or equivalent. Six (6) years working experience, three (3) of which in student counseling.
- Registered with relevant professional body.
- Must be Computer literate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide counseling services to University Students.
- Organize the students’ orientation exercise to familiarize them with counseling services at the University.
- Keep an accurate record of counseling sessions with the students.
- Coordinate peer counseling activities.
- Supervise staff under them.
