Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Junior IT Technician supports the IT department’s day-to-day installation and maintenance work under
the guidance of the Head of IT Works and senior technicians. No prior professional experience is required;
we’re looking for someone with the right academic grounding and the right attitude: careful, thorough and
eager to learn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with the installation, setup, and maintenance of IT and audio-visual equipment on site.
• Carry out assigned tasks accurately and to completion, under the direction of senior technicians.
• Handle company tools and equipment responsibly, reporting any faults or damage promptly.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and conduct while on client sites.
• Support senior staff with basic troubleshooting, cabling and equipment testing.
• Follow all workplace safety instructions and procedures.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• An academic background in IT/technology — a certificate, diploma, or degree in a relevant field. This is a
beginner role, so hands-on work experience is not required.
• A keen eye for detail and genuine thoroughness — someone who double-checks their work rather than
rushing it.
• A willingness to learn, take direction, and grow into greater responsibility over time.
• Reliability and a strong sense of ownership over assigned tasks
WHAT WE OFFER
• A net monthly salary of KSh 30,000.
