Abri Family Guardian Limited invites applications from qualified, detail-oriented, and results-driven professionals for the position of Accountant. The successful candidate will support the company’s financial management functions by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, monitoring expenditure, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial documentation.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, management accounts, and supporting schedules.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, expenditure, and budget performance.
- Support the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
- Assist in meeting applicable tax filing, statutory reporting, and compliance obligations.
- Maintain appropriate financial controls and safeguard company financial information.
- Coordinate audit preparations and provide supporting documentation when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial reporting efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- CPA qualification or progress towards CPA certification will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- High standards of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
