Job Description
Job Summary
The Account Manager oversees the full client lifecycle from acquisition to loan completion, ensuring portfolio performance and compliance with company policies. The role includes client acquisition, credit vetting, training, loan management, incident handling, and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities

Recruit and onboard new clients while maintaining up to 200 active leases.

Market products and promote cross-selling opportunities.

Conduct client and guarantor vetting in line with credit policy.

Capture and update client information in the CRM system.

Train clients on loan terms, payment procedures, insurance, and guarantor responsibilities.

Facilitate disbursement and ensure proper agreement signing.

Monitor repayments, follow up on overdue accounts, and initiate recovery actions.

Handle customer complaints and manage asset-related incidents (theft, impounding, breakdowns).

Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and agreements.

Promote client retention and identify new business opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
-
Diploma in a business-related field.

At least 1 year experience in microfinance (preferred).
-
High integrity and dependability.
-
Valid riding competence (Class A2 and B – mandatory).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
