Job Description
Reports to: Operations Lead
Location: Mombasa
Role Summary
The Branch Leader provides overall leadership and oversight of branch operations to drive business growth, portfolio quality, and profitability. The role represents the company within the local business community and ensures compliance with company policies, financial targets, and operational standards while embodying the organization’s core values.
Key Responsibilities
Branch & Operations Management

Oversee all branch activities including sales, customer service, HR, and administration.

Ensure profitability, portfolio growth, and operational efficiency.

Manage branch resources, inventory, and asset records.

Supervise credit assessments, loan approvals, disbursements, and recoveries.

Conduct market analysis and monitor competitor activity.
-
Perform audits and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Customer Service & Community Engagement
-
Handle escalated customer complaints.
-
Build strong relationships with clients and the community.
-
Promote customer satisfaction and retention through quality service.
Budgeting & Financial Management
-
Prepare and manage branch budgets and forecasts (Branch P&L).

Monitor branch expenditures and approve requisitions.

Track sales performance and financial utilization.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services (2–3 years in leadership).

Experience in credit management, asset financing, and sales.

Strong integrity, compliance focus, and risk awareness.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM systems.
-
Motorbike Riding Competence (Class A2) – mandatory.
