Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support sound financial decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting skills and experience handling financial transactions, reporting, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Support audits and maintain proper documentation
- Monitor cash flow and advise on financial performance
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA (Part II or above) or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in real estate or property management accounting
- Knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
