Job Description
Job Description: The Branch Manager oversees all operations of a K-Unity Sacco branch, ensuring efficient service delivery and business growth. Responsibilities include managing branch staff, achieving deposit and loan targets, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining excellent customer relations, implementing organizational policies, managing branch budgets, monitoring financial performance, and representing the Sacco in the local community. The role requires strategic planning to grow the branch’s membership base and product uptake.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all branch operations and staff
- Achieve deposit mobilization and loan disbursement targets
- Ensure compliance with SASRA regulations and internal policies
- Develop and implement business growth strategies
- Manage customer relations and resolve escalated issues
- Prepare branch performance reports
- Oversee risk management and internal controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, or related field
- Professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, or banking certifications) – added advantage
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in banking/Sacco operations with at least 3 years in management
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent understanding of SASRA regulations and Sacco operations
- Proven track record in achieving business targets
- Strong financial analysis and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
