Job Description
Reporting To: Medical Director / Facility In-Charge
Job Summary:
The Clinician will be responsible for providing quality outpatient medical care, diagnosing and treating patients, and ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and medical assessments.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe medications appropriately and safely.
- Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Perform minor medical procedures where necessary.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients.
- Participate in continuous medical education (CME) and clinical meetings.
- Refer patients appropriately when specialized care is required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine.
- Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council (COC).
- Valid practicing license.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience (healthcare facility experience preferred).
