Job Purpose
To provide logistical support to program and administrative teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that vehicles are used for pre-approved purposes.
- Oversee the fueling of vehicles and ensure that fuel cards are replenished on a timely basis.
- Promptly report any matters related to the maintenance of vehicles, including regular services and insurance renewal.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicles at all times.
- Strictly adhere to traffic rules and regulations of the roads.
- Ensure vehicle log/mileage sheets and any other required operational records are completed accurately and on a timely basis, and verify them regularly.
- Ensure the safety custody of vehicles while on duty and ensure they are all parked at the end of the day in the designated KCCB ACTS parking.
- Ensure the safe custody of the vehicle keys in the transport office.
- Regulate heating equipment and ventilation of the vehicle for the comfort of passengers.
- Assume responsibility for the safety of passengers.
- Instruct passengers in safety precautions and practices.
- Report delays and accidents to the supervisor promptly.
- Carry out any other essential tasks related to KCCB ACTS and General Secretariat’s goals that may reasonably be assigned.
Qualifications, Requirements, and Experience
- Holder of K.C.S.E with a minimum C- grade.
- Holder of a clean, BCE Class, valid driving license.
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience accident-free and knowledgeable about most regions in Kenya.
- Certificate of good conduct from the Kenya National Police Service.
- Knowledge in vehicle mechanics.
- Computer literate
