Job Purpose

To provide logistical support to program and administrative teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that vehicles are used for pre-approved purposes.
Oversee the fueling of vehicles and ensure that fuel cards are replenished on a timely basis.
Promptly report any matters related to the maintenance of vehicles, including regular services and insurance renewal.
Maintain cleanliness of the vehicles at all times.
Strictly adhere to traffic rules and regulations of the roads.
Ensure vehicle log/mileage sheets and any other required operational records are completed accurately and on a timely basis, and verify them regularly.
Ensure the safety custody of vehicles while on duty and ensure they are all parked at the end of the day in the designated KCCB ACTS parking.
Ensure the safe custody of the vehicle keys in the transport office.
Regulate heating equipment and ventilation of the vehicle for the comfort of passengers.
Assume responsibility for the safety of passengers.
Instruct passengers in safety precautions and practices.
Report delays and accidents to the supervisor promptly.
Carry out any other essential tasks related to KCCB ACTS and General Secretariat’s goals that may reasonably be assigned.

Qualifications, Requirements, and Experience

Holder of K.C.S.E with a minimum C- grade.
Holder of a clean, BCE Class, valid driving license.
Minimum 5 years of driving experience accident-free and knowledgeable about most regions in Kenya.
Certificate of good conduct from the Kenya National Police Service.
Knowledge in vehicle mechanics.
Computer literate
