Roles / Responsibilities of Flow Measurement Operators

  • Monitor and record flow rates of liquids or gases
  • Operate and maintain flow measurement equipment
  • Detect and report leaks, blockages, or irregularities
  • Adjust valves and controls to regulate flow
  • Ensure accurate data logging and reporting
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance
  • Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
  • Basic knowledge of flow measurement systems and instruments
  • Ability to read gauges, meters, and technical data
  • Good record-keeping and reporting skills
  • Physical fitness and attention to detail
  • Prior experience in a similar role is an added advantage
