Roles / Responsibilities

  • Inspect pipelines, tanks, and systems to detect leaks
  • Use leak detection tools and equipment to identify faults
  • Monitor pressure levels and flow irregularities
  • Report leaks, damages, or safety hazards promptly
  • Assist in isolating affected areas to prevent losses
  • Maintain records of inspections and findings
  • Support repair teams during maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or related field
  • Basic knowledge of pipeline systems and leak detection methods
  • Ability to use detection tools (e.g., sensors, gauges)
  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills
  • Physical fitness for fieldwork and patrol duties
  • Good reporting and communication skills
  • Prior experience in pipeline, water, or fuel systems is an added advantage
