Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operating heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts and other lifting machines safely and efficiently
- Loading, unloading, moving, and stacking cargo or materials within the work area
- Inspecting lifting equipment before and after operations to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Following safety procedures and operational guidelines during lifting activities
- Assisting in cargo handling and port operations
- Reporting mechanical faults or operational issues to supervisors
- Maintaining cleanliness and proper handling of equipment
- Supporting smooth movement of goods and materials within the organization
Qualifications and Requirements
- KCSE mean grade D (Plain) or its equivalent
- Valid driving license classes B, C, and E with Forklift endorsement
- ICT skills
- Must be physically and medically fit
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in a reputable organization
