Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail:
(i) Implementing measures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in Stores
Management;
(ii) Carrying out annual and periodic stocktaking;
(iii) Setting up accurate inventory control systems to maintain optimum stock levels;
(iv) Maintaining inventory in good condition for continual usage;
(v) Advising and employing best storage methods;
(vi) Maintaining and updating all inventory records;
(vii) Receipting of all inventory and raising inventory receipt documents;
(viii) Ensuring safety, security and cleanliness in the warehouse;
(ix) Assisting in preparation of disposal documents;
(x) Initiating documentation for payment of suppliers for services rendered;
(xi) Maintaining a register of return stores and lists of items awaiting disposal
