Job Description:

As the Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for the development, management, and scaling of FarmStack and the AI-enabled digital extension system. These platforms aim to empower smallholder farmers through data-driven insights and technology. Your technical expertise will be crucial in driving the product’s success and ensuring alignment with Digital Green’s vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Proficiency:

  • Stay updated with the latest web and mobile technologies.
  • Ensure product optimization for scalability, performance, and user experience.

Remote Team Collaboration Excellence:

  • Manage and synergize with remote development and product teams.
  • Establish regular meeting rhythms for seamless communication across time zones.

Product Operations Mastery:

  • Oversee daily product operations, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams for timely delivery of product features.

Partner Relations:

  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities and external organizations.

Stellar Communication:

  • Lead all product-related communications within and outside the organization.

Skills and Experience:

  • BSc/B.Tech/B.E or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of holistic experience in product management.
  • 3-5 years in a technical product management role.
  • 0-1 years of hands-on experience in user research.
  • Background in the agriculture ecosystem and Ag-Tech is advantageous.

Technical Prowess:

  • Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and familiarity with modern web and mobile tech stacks.
  • Experience with wireframing and design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
  • Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Agile development experience.
  • Expertise in PRD writing and creating wireframes.
  • Experience in managing remote teams.
