Customer Service Representative

Ensuring Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty

Overall Purpose:

The job holder is responsible for maintaining a professional and positive demeanor while interacting with customers through various channels, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and preserving customer loyalty by providing appropriate resolutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Document Processing:
    • Process customer invoices, delivery notes, and related documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  2. Customer Communication:
    • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries or concerns.
  3. Complaint Resolution:
    • Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and efficiently.
  4. Performance Goals:
    • Meet or exceed performance goals, including call handling time and customer satisfaction.
  5. Information Accuracy:
    • Stay current with company and industry-related information to provide accurate information to customers.
  6. Issue Escalation:
    • Identify and escalate complex customer issues to a supervisor or manager when necessary.
  7. Follow-up:
    • Follow up with customers to ensure their needs were met satisfactorily.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of at least 1 year in a similar role, preferably handling Home Appliances.
  • Diploma in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Preferably possess good computer skills.
  • Considerable knowledge in Microsoft Excel is an added advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
