Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive EPMO strategy, aligning project management practices with the bank’s overall business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the EPMO function, including project portfolio management, methodology development, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Champion a culture of project excellence by implementing robust project management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMI).
- Establish and maintain a centralized project management repository for processes, templates, and best practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance project management skills across the bank.
- Lead the EPMO team in providing guidance, support, and oversight to project managers throughout the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, closure).
- Implement a project portfolio management framework to prioritize, select, and manage all bank-wide projects based on strategic alignment and risk considerations.
- Develop and maintain project reporting dashboards to provide senior management with real-time insights into project performance and portfolio health.
- Manage and optimize resource allocation across the project portfolio, ensuring efficient utilization of personnel and budget.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Partner with business unit leaders to understand their needs and ensure project deliverables meet strategic objectives.
- Foster collaboration and communication between stakeholders at all levels.
- Stay current on emerging trends in project management methodologies and best practices.
