Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the Equity Group’s business objectives.
- Oversee data management, warehousing, integration, and migration; business intelligence; analytics; quality and delivery across advisory and technical projects.
- Designing and maintaining a robust data infrastructure to enable building data products as well as company-wide analytics and reporting.
- Leveraging advanced analytics tools to derive meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and align product development, analytics, data science, and Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence efforts with business goals.
- Ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating innovations into Equity Group’s data practices.
- Develop Machine Learning and deep learning algorithms that help teams to improve their predictive capabilities significantly.
- Develop data models and roadmaps that improve processes and add strategic value to the business.
- Champion a data-driven culture by fostering collaboration between data teams and business units.
- Lead the recruitment, development, and management of a talented data team (data analysts, data scientists, data engineers).
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to identify business needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners in the data ecosystem.
- Track and measure the success of data initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Communicate complex data concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
