Key Responsibilities

Strategic Client Engagement

  • Develop and implement tailored engagement strategies that build trusted relationships with CEOs, Executive Directors, Partners, Board Members and senior management teams in Nairobi based organisations.
  • Promote the organisation’s executive development programmes taking place in Kenya and the UK in June, July, August and November. Position these programmes as high value opportunities for senior leaders seeking to strengthen strategy, governance, innovation, resilience and organisational performance.
  • Communicate clearly the strategic value of the organisation’s programmes in helping institutions respond to growth pressures, regulatory complexity, talent retention challenges, digital disruption, governance expectations, execution risk and Kenya specific challenges such as economic volatility and regional integration.
  • Understand complex stakeholder environments and position programmes as enablers of institutional performance, leadership resilience and long term value creation.

Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets by converting qualified leads into programme registrations, organisational partnerships and repeat executive participation.
  • Develop persuasive business cases that justify premium investment by demonstrating return on investment, executive testimonials, case evidence and clear strategic outcomes.
  • Deliver high quality presentations, proposals and negotiations that secure participation in executive development programmes and deepen organisational relationships.

Market Intelligence and Networking

  • Remain well informed about Nairobi and Kenya specific market dynamics including macroeconomic conditions, sector regulation such as Central Bank of Kenya, Capital Markets Authority and SASRA expectations, board priorities and leadership capability gaps.
  • Participate actively in executive forums, industry events, chambers of commerce and professional networks to strengthen brand visibility and expand market access.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through consistent follow up, relationship management and disciplined engagement.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work closely with UK based academic, faculty and programme delivery teams to ensure market insights and client needs are accurately reflected in programme positioning and engagement.
  • Provide structured daily and weekly reports on engagement activity, pipeline progress, client insights and market intelligence.

Thought Leadership and Brand Representation

  • Act as a trusted representative of a respected executive development organisation by sharing thought leadership, faculty insights and research driven perspectives with senior audiences.
  • Lead strategic conversations that position the organisation as a long term partner in leadership development, institutional resilience and sustainable growth in Kenya and the wider region.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline. An MBA or postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
  • At least three to five years experience in business development, senior sales or client engagement within professional services, banking, insurance, consulting, executive education or other regulated industries.
  • A strong record of engaging senior executives and securing high value opportunities. Experience promoting executive education programmes or consulting services will be an advantage.
