Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail:

Liaising with consultants, resource persons and other stakeholders on education and assessment matters;

Implementing performance management system in the division;
(iii) Coordinating research programmes in the division.
(iv) Identification, coordinating and managing the development of course content for
training;
(v) Identification, coordination and managing resource centre personnel;
(vi) Coordinating and managing educational assessment and training;
(vii) Develop department’s work plan and budget;
(viii) Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual divisional reports;
(ix) Overseeing the development and implementation of an effective staff performance
management system;
(x) Ensuring development and implementation of the training and development plan;
(xi) Managing human, financial and material resources assigned to the division.
(xii) Collaborate with process owners and user departments to ensure delivery of quality
goods and services;
(xiii) Promoting adherence to the Intellectual Property Rights policy.

Required skills

At least ten (10) years cumulative relevant work experience four (4) of which should have served at Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Education, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; Masters degree in any of the following disciplines: Education, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, R Proficiency in computer applications;
